This Privacy Policy describes how Megatool collects, uses, and shares information when you browse the directory, create an account, or submit a tool. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in we receive your email address, name, and profile image from the sign-in provider you choose.

Submission information. When you submit a tool we store the tool name, website link, and the content we prepare for the listing. Approved listings are public.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the payment status, amount, and an order reference. We do not store card numbers.

Usage data. We collect standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and the time of the visit. We also count clicks on listing links to report exposure to tool owners.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the directory, authenticate accounts, process payments, review submissions, publish listings, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and understand how the site is used.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site: payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service. We do not sell personal data.

Data retention

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations. Usage logs are kept for a shorter period unless needed for security.

Your rights

You can update your profile from account settings. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting the support email shown in the site footer. We may need to keep some records where we have a legal obligation to do so.

Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Listings link to third-party websites that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
